How Do I Get My Music Played on Frisk?

Requirements

Tracks must not contain explicit lyrics or adult themes (lyrics depicting acts of sex or violence). We are bound by Ofcom's broadcast code on our DAB stations, and we abide by it on our digital-only stations too.

Submitted tracks can be in WAV, FLAC or MP3 format. If submitting an MP3, it should be at 320kbps.

Genres

For Frisk Radio and Frisk Bounce, we welcome pop and commercial dance tracks.

What works for us:

• Original works, with a bright, happy feel
• Remixes of oldskool tracks where the vocal is true to the original

What doesn't works:

• Heavy / bland / techy / repetitive tracks

For Frisk Groove, we welcome new soul music, soulful house, and pop/soul cross-over tracks.

MIxes

For Frisk Radio, we accept radio edits and extended mixes. The extended mixes are used during our mixshow programmes.

For Frisk Bounce, we operate beat-mixed output 24/7 - thus only extended mixes are required.

For Frisk Groove, we welcome radio edits with a maximum duration of 4m30.

Upload your track to a third party sharing or sending service, such as Dropbox or Mailbigfile

Due to the vast number of submissions we receive, we will only reply to e-mails where a track has been playlisted.
