Always check out the parks websites to make sure everything is running ok/is open before you visit! - Chester le Street Riverside Park. Their Splash Pad is free with no booking required. You can also spend time in the park, on the grass (lots of space!) or walking along the river. - Carlisle Park, Morpeth has a FREE outdoor paddling pool. No need to book. Plus they have a playground. There are often small row boats for hire on the river. While there you can take a walk to the stepping stones which are great fun. - Hirst Park in Ashington. Splash Park. FREE, no need to book. There is a good sized play park and a grass area, great for picnics. - Ridley Park in Blyth. Splash Park. FREE. Open 11am-6pm. No booking required. The park also has a great play area and woodland walks.
