Welcome to all freshers from Frisk! - WELCOME EVENT - Monday 19th Sept 10am-4pm The #IAMNORTHUMBRIA University Welcome Event is held in the world class Sports Central complex where you will hear from key University staff and our Students Union to welcome you to the University as well as finding out more about your learning experience and the support services available to you. The event will provide an energetic, fun atmosphere where you can get to know other students, browse stalls showcasing University services, get involved in activities and grab a freebie. - STUDENT UNION COMMERCIAL FAIR – Monday 19th- Tuesday 20th September (10am - 4pm both days) Held in the Students’ Union, the Students' Union Commercial Fair offers freebies and discounts from all the local bars, restaurants, clubs and shops as well as information from key University services. Visit the Students' Union Freshers 2022 website for further information. - STUDENT UNION SOCIETIES & VOLUNTEERING FAIR – Wednesday 21st September (11am - 5pm) Held in the Students’ Union, the Students' Union Societies and Volunteering Fair offers you the opportunity to join student societies, to get to know new people and expand your horizons. Visit the Students' Union Freshers 2022 website for further information. - NORTHUMBRIA SPORTS FAIR – Wednesday 21st September (11am - 5pm) Held in Sports Central, this is an opportunity to find out everything you can get involved with related to sport. There will be opportunities for tours of Sports Central, to join sports clubs, get your fitness memberships plus volunteer opportunities and adventure challenges.
