- FREE Bus, Metro & Ferry Travel for Kids this Summer. - Up to three kids aged 11 and under can travel for free on bus services operated by Arriva North East, Go North East or Stagecoach in County Durham, Northumberland and Tyne and Wear all day, every day from Saturday 23 July until Sunday 4 September 2022 when accompanied by a fare-paying adult. - You can use this deal as many times as you like across the summer and use it across different transport modes - for example you could take the METRO to South Shields then catch the ferry to North Shields then a bus back. - There are NO time restrictions - use this deal at any time of the day/night from 23 July - 4 September
