Diwali Lantern Parade
Saturday 26 October, 11:00
Celebrate the festival of lights as part of this Indian festival. There will be lots of activities and crafts throughout the day. You can visit the Diwali light arch and selfie throne in the Queen Street Shopping Centre. At Theatre Hullabaloo, children and their grown-ups can create their own lamps which are symbolically lit during prayers, rituals, and ceremonies in the Hindu culture.
All this is followed by the parade through the town and a big celebration of dance, music and food.
