Darlington Community Carnival 2024

There'll be dancing in the streets on Saturday 29 June for the annual Darlington Community Carnival.
Festivities begin in the Market Square at 10am and will be followed by the carnival procession at 11.30am which will finish at Stanhope Park for an afternoon of family fun and performances.
The theme this year is British wildlife - birds, bees and butterflies so expect to see a host of vibrant costumes, sculptures and banners created in collaboration with local artist Yvonne Preston.
Collections will take place throughout the day for Darlington and District Samaritans.
